Test Monkeys get a 9-9-9 call

So there we were, minding our own business just loitering around Redbay Boats when Gary stuck his head out of the office and asked us what we were doing. Generally "Nothing, honest!" is the answer that works best for me It worked this time too as he was allocating Flying Test Monkey duty - three grey Nine meter sister RIBs were in the yard for various reasons and he wanted a photo or ten...

So donegaldan and I got a spin out in a selection of twin and single outboard and single inboard versions of the same hull which was interesting. There is an full Shockwave console on the twin Verado 250 version. Mental fun , totally mental....

It's absolutely stunning - we threw her over the many wakes that the trio of 950s raised and she felt like she just surged through/over them. There's a slight lurchiness to the motion but you would quickly get used to it. It totally removes any bumps and vibrations in normal running and the seating is hugely secure. As a system, it's nothing like standalone shock mitigation seats, they're good but this is something special. It would need to be, Skerryvore would cost you less than the ICE console...

PS, with the twin 250 Verados, she takes off like a scalded cat - awesome!

Thanks. I thought it would be good (and expensive). I will buy a lottery ticket or two and keep my fingers crossed. Glad you enjoyed your photo shoot.
