..and another one if you like what we call here 'SEA CAMPING'. Why one would like and enjoy to be uncomforatble I never understood
You have reason, better an hotel !
But this is another way to go on the sea.
If you are on a uninhabitat island you can stay there for a niight or more (forced sto, read the story of my wifw Chiara on Gabriele site).
Or if you are doing a trip around the Peloponneso and you don't found a room for a night?this has happened me in Ithaki one year.
Many people do "sea camping"( nautical camping in Italy) and in Greece a lot of rib have the camp climbed on board and they don't sleep on board every night.
The grece camp of Viotap is very good, better than the italian camp.
For me the ideal is to sleep one or two night on board and then 2/3 night in hotel.

The main problem is the toilette, no problem for douce.

You have see my photos, I have 2 igloo for the emergency, one or two nigt of naitical camping and then back to the hotel.

I ,like you, prefer an open rib but never say never !

You ,in the North Sea, make sea camping?
Here in the Mediterranean sea is very usual.

Luigi probably I was not that clear and is my fault.
I don't speak about going to an uninhabited island and staying over for a night or two (which we also do and we carry our tents, my RIB is too smal for the 4 of us) but for people who stay on their RIBs moored in a marina or port with a hotel or rooms to let just accross.
