The Eurocommuter arrives

Here's an exclusive sneak preview of Crazyhorse's Eurocommuter. I know you may think it's a little bit different from the website description but a bit of day dreaming never hurt anyone.

It's coming along nicely then. What is it I'm seeing on the rear frame?

----------------
I've just sussed it. Doh... It's a protective visor and ears.

Looking good John, when's it due to be completed?

You'll have to bring her into Aberystwyth once it's all sorted, maybe we can sort out another NW Ribsters meet there. I'm sure we could drag Alex Brown up from Milford Haven too.

Not too long a wait then. So at the next meet we won't have to moor up at Beaumaris for a cuppa, just get on the radio to you and tell you get the kettle on then eh?

Can't wait to see the finished product, but make sure you keep posting these work in progress photos mate, I love this stuff.

Matt

CH, All the original poor build has been corrected, the 3 tanks are moulded and in, along with the tranfer pumps and fuel gauge senders. The engine compartment is part built. The extra longerons are in, the elevated floor supports are in, the tank filler system is part done, the original deck is back down. Lots of other bits and pieces too. At the weekend I made a plug and mould for the air intakes. Tonight I'm going to laminate the first one, tomorrow the second. This will allow me to complete the fixed part of the engine compartment and reinstall the engine and drive. Once this is done, the general wiring, steering etc. can be fitted. The designs for the consol/cabin are finalised and I have a pile of stainless tube for the framing, radar support, auxiliary outboard bracket etc.
The trailer had its first outing a couple of weeks ago when it went to the weighbridge. It travelled nicely so that's pleasing - 640kg, bang on.

Everything gets in the way.. a power cut just now.. I'm running on the genny at present.

Another cup of coffee and then it's back on me head....You do know the joke about the guy who went to hell...?

Cheers for now.
