just got back from Bristol channel, glad to say all went well,
really handled the ruff bristol channel with ease, i [personally felt really comfortable and sea safe in it,
the power is awsome from an old V4, i have owned many ribs and fishing boats over the years, this for a 6.0mtr craft old one at that and an old 130hp lump it flew and gave you a real positive safe feeling,
considering i recently owned a 6.5 vipermax i have to say Osprey are in a league of there own when it comes to hull design,
fully loved it the graft and the smile on my face today said it all, back to normality again, work eastenders and pub LOL
happy ribbing folks, and a sincere thanks to those that assiited my many questions and pointed me in the right direction,
On the subject of help.
any one got wiring schematics for the clocks ? no tacho or trim working, must a wired it wrong, cant see how though.......
sure i can go up to a 21 pitch prop with ease need to see what its reving at
Nuge

Well done Nuge.
You've done well to finish her off in only 3 weeks. Are you sure you didn't have Ian M there, giving you a hand?

it was hard work but most enjoyable at the same time,
best thing is that in this current climate you can put a fare package together for very little money,
still got to sort the electrics out correctly and clean the internal fuel tank, and re string the life lines appart from that its getting a good thrashing till the winter where upon the console will be changed

How do you find the steering position on that? People generally mount the steering wheel lower down where you've got that fishfinder. I ended up moving the throttle to the right hand side of that bit on a bracket as it was really uncomfortable further up.

evening Tim,
highly recomend that you reposition as i have done,
in the chop the lower steering is terrible and very uncomfortable when standing,
the top part of the consol will need strengthening to suit though, i put 4 layers of glass and a 3mm ali plate in position, just to be safe, there after i made an ali wedge stand of bracket for controls, was my first outing yesterday and had no problems with the set up at all,
a very good judgement or pure luck on my behalf
