University of Portsmouth Sailing Club Ribcraft 4.8

Well, it's here! The brand shiny new ribcraft 4.8 was picked up by myself on Monday, and the tide being reasonable was promptly taken out to start the run in. We've put 4 1/2 hours on her since then, and these are some of the pics from her maiden voyage Monday night.

I've already let 6 other people drive it! Only for 30s a time though...

It's a mariner 60hp 4-stroke BigFoot.

I keep getting moaned at for getting a 4-Stroke rather than a speedy 2, but it will pay dividends in fuel economy and towing!

Excellent news guys, glad you have a replacement ready for next year. The Uni is on the up!! After the theft of our two boats both the Sailing Club and Diving Club are now sorted!! Here are some pics of the Diving Club RIB in plymouth last weekend:
