Volvo Ocean Race goes Ballistic!

What a spectacular start to the Volvo Ocean Race in Cape Town! The Blessing of the Yachts were enjoyed in the V&A Waterfront by thousands of spectators. Ballistic 7.8 meter Commercials were ready to transport spectators to the start just outside the harbour. Hundreds of Boats, Yachts and Ballistic RIB's were there to bid them farewell and goodluck in their quest to conquer the ocean over the next few weeks. The water was definitely not calm! But still almost all boats joined them around the buoys’ near Blouberg and back to the harbour to show off these magnificent Yachts! We are proud of all the Ballistics taking part in this phenomenal event!

i think you will find that the volvo ocean race people have there own custom built ribs all diesel inboards
