West Coast Pics

As a new member here are a few pics of a recent trip through Sound of Islay, Colonsay and back through Gulf Of Corryvrechan during late September.

Did you go by the whirlpool?

What type of pictures are you trying to post? JPEGs seem to be the best. You may be trying to post a picture file that is too large, the maximum file size is 204800 bytes. There is also a max picture size (which I can't remember, but it will tell you when you try to post them).

Check also the section in the bottom left of the 'Post Reply' screen that it says 'You MAY post attachments'. To change this you have to go through the 'User CD' pages.

Please try again as I am dying to see the pictures.

Keith,

Yes we went passed the whirlpool, not quite through it. It was springs and the tide had just turned to the flood. There is photos.........honest......... but still having problems getting them attached. I seem to be following the instructions but the attachment disappear when I post it. Any more clues??

The tide was on the later stages of the ebb as we went through the Sound of Islay and passed one or two of the distilleries, didn't have time to stop for a wee dram though...........!!

The boat in Oronsay looking North East towards Jura, Scarba and Mull is just in view in the distance on the left...

You just can't beat the west coast on a day like this....

Did I hear,

someone calling me?

Nice photos, bright and sharp. I would prefer see your faces though istead of your backs.
