Let me guess. It's flying a maple leaf. It's aluminium. Your new boat is being made in Canada. Is it a close relative?

GREAT BOAT CH!!
It looks like a great boat. And if the Canadian Coastguard uses it what a better reference than that.
Would love to get a ride (and a drink if poss) on the finished product

I'll reserve my judgement til I've borrowed it for a week, but as Manos would say,it certainly looks the biz's. Personally, I like the utilitarian lines. Looks like wot a rib should look like. Not sure the Coastguard use is any endorsement though. If they're like our emergency services, you often get what's cheapest, not what's best. Only trouble is it ain't ORANGE.............

It has the credentiels but I dont want to be a bore you so Im best saying just that.
Mine is from the same Stable, but aprox 2mtrs bigger, and yes they do in my oppinion have an eye for a nice looking rib and built well.
Its not cheap in fact its the most expensive rib in its class.
Unfortunatly

eeeh David you have a way in bringing the best out in me, what do you want to know?
Its 27.5 ft long, beam of 8ft 8inch built like a brick, and goes like stink.
Built of top grade marine ali, with a internal foam flotation so cant sink if holed.
Has 9 air compartments tubes, made of 1850 decitex Orka, hull thickness aprox 7+mill. Has a log kiker for dealing with logs at speed.Keeps the weather of you with the use of a windshield for distance stuff.
ect ect ect and its somebody elses boat.
And it isnt for sale so you cant buy one even if you wanted to,which Im sure you dont want to anyway.
Hope this helps

Charles its a nice boat for sure, and they do make impressive ribs.
Its a little like that in that its a cabin rib.
But its not Zodiac but your are getting close.
There is some serious competition out there. As they have been using ribs for a long time in Canada for offshore stuff commercialy.
Within 2 wks you will know what she is all about and why I have bored you all.
Its an interesting boat and I hope you like her.
I am commited to Ribs in the same way you all are, and its my passion as they are what I believe is the ultimate form of offshore boat transport.
I hope you like her.

Thanks CH
Will hold you to that!! LOLOL
Any way I have read a bit about this make of RIBs and done a bit of research to. All comments and reports are impressive!!
This is DAS BOOT
I think that if I wanted an offshore unsinkable RIB to sail the Atlantic or the Pacific would try to get one of those ducklings (not that I can afford it though )
However right now I'm happy cruising the Aegean (smaller waves LOLOL ).

Sirzap I think so too she has nice lines and does the job,
That is an interesting drive system on the Zodiac, and we are going single diesel for fuel and weight efficiencie, she will do 36+ knts and burn no more than 59ltrs an hour full speed, maybe 40 ltrs at cruising speed. She is my ultimate cruising machine.
