Who's hull is this?

Had this emailed to me the other day, asking if I knew what the hull was.

I haven't got a clue, or perhaps a new one for BWM, any ideas?

I'd guess it may be a Hydrosport hull.

Can you tell a bit more about your experience with the hydrosport hull because a Dutch dealer is introducing the under the name 'Rough-Neck' ribs for a good price.

I'd say so. The one step is one hell of a giveaway!

For anyone who's never seen a Revenger stepped hull (codprawn!) here's two of them....

I'm sure I've commented on these before, but any how, this is all I know.

Poole Boat Park were agents a few years ago for Hydrosport, and had one with a Jonnyrude on it, can't remember what horsepower, but it wasn't huge. Problem was, once on the plane, it wouldn't steer, and they tried everything, including moving the console, tanks etc. The manufacturer even came over and tried, but he couldn't solve the problem, in the end, a much lower hp motor was fitted, and the boat was sold off cheap!

There are a pair of identical boats out there somewhere both with 140 Suzuki 4 strokes on and they handle just fine, must have been a much bigger engine.

Those will be BruceHawsker's Prime RIBs.

The sales concept didn't do as well as Bruce hoped, but I didn't hear any bad reports about the hulls.

I was involved with the project towards the end including the sale of the two demonstrators.
