Notice the RIB in the background...

the first bit WAS genuine (the car and the first recovery truck). But the second recovery truck DID NOT fall in the water - it was photoshopped - i don't know why - it was a good enough story with just one truck

its been photoshopped. Everything except the lorry between the shot where the first lorry fell in and the second lorry. Notice the grey rib, the green van, the people, all in the same place. The truck with the white car on it has gone so has the 4x4... ...or simply look here: http://www.snopes.com/photos/accident/crane.asp

Well fine then. I was thinking you guys over there weren't too bright when it came to lifting little cars out of the water, so it's just as well...

Offended? Hell, I'm from Scottish stock! There is, apparently, some connection on the Italian side to relatives of questionable charachter. One of them called one time and wondered how big a block of cement I could carry in my boat!

Is that your RIB in the backround? I was there when that happened (its about 60miles away from where I live)... The last photo is an obvious photoshop... I couldnt believe my eyes when it happened!
