Vague memory that insurance is a requirement although never been asked to produce evidence. Worth taking a copy of the insurance just in case.

after the last time we were out mrs Xk59D took my stickers of and the tubes were noticeably faded around it next time I am up it will be 2 backing boards getting cable tied onto the a frame

I don't think insurance is a requirement but worth calling to ask them. I've never been asked if I have any and you see a lot of boats there which would struggle to get insurance so I would be surprised if you do need it.

I know you need insurance to use Cameron house marina but it was 85 quid a night when I last asked...... Needless to say I never kept it there.

Hot off the press (renewal came in today) this slip is to be closed as of 1st April 2016.

Permanently.........apparently it's doesn't justify the Ranger resource with how little it's used. (Sorry that should have been 2017)

Yes, I have that letter too, when I got home. A strongly worded response will be coming their way. I don't use it much, but I don't see why it needs the ranger service "for safety" as they suggest...

When you see the state of some people launching at Loch lomond I'm not surprised they think rangers are needed.

I've never used the slip but are they closing the slip or just ranger station at it? Be as well leave it as a free slip you would think since it is built anyway.

No closing the slip. It will be left, but there is a barrier at the top.
