I've posted these pics before. Here I'm running in the Los Angeles Harbor.
The only thing my rib has in common with that Pressman is the Icom radio intercom. Sheesh.....

Here's one of the race boat - 2005 British Formula 1 RIB Champions and the leisure version - taking orders for next year now!
And to answer your questions -
The race boat - 950 kgs 7.4m (race boats only measure the hard bit) 200hp XR2 2 litre 70+ mph 150 litre bow tank Stainless Marine lifter (5") custom setback bracket. One of the best rough water boats in its class including Formula 200 which is for all 200 hp race boats ie batboats etc. Like many race boats to get the best from it you have to concentrate but it rewards good driving!
The leisure version - 1250kgs 7.7m 225hp Optimax (other models or power ratings available!) 60+ mph custom setback bracket. We have used the demonstrator for everything this season and done 140+ hours so far - from a mirror calm visit to the class 1 race in Plymouth from Salcombe to safety duty for the racing out past the Needles in a force 5+ wind over tide and the only thing we have changed is the prop, and it handles even better now!
Hope that answers your questions!

I'm very impressed with the constuction, I am curious though, how does the water get picked up for the Jets, is there a scoop or something or just flush with the hull? And is there any filter over them?
Andy

There are two aluminium intake blocks bonded into the hull when the skin is moulded. When the jet unit is bolted to this a coarse screen is bolted to the intake. We havent forgotten about your run out, we'll organise it soon

A proper boat.
Note the judicious wearing of lifejackets, dry suits, crash helmets, & harnesses.

Mmm... so that's what it looks like when you've put all the bits together...

I can't remember where half the bits are supposed to go, and lost a fair proportion of the other half, so it might not look quite the same.
