Just picked up a recently retired US Coast Guard 2008 Zodiac OTH-MKIII, Yanmar 6LP, Bravo 1X outdrive. It’s my first RIB, looking forward to fixing her up!

I do like the Willard's and Zodiacs that are retired from the USCG and USN.

Nice boat! Did you buy direct from USCG via surplus? What boat was it on?

I have a zodiac hurricane 540 that was also a coast guard boat, that i bought after they sold to a sheriffs department.

Yep direct from the Coast Guard, this one just got retired in December 2019 to make way for the new Safe Boat version.

Hey I’m looking at a similar boat. Basically your twin! Can you tell me if the tubes are by wing or original hypalon? Also fuel capacity? Awesome looking boat. Excited about the prospect of getting one!
