Will keep a look out down on the Kent Coast.

I think the police may be banging their heads against a wall with finding them. If there is no cctv coverage or anyone givng them some tip offs, they could be bloody anywhere, normally our travelling friends going all over country will have a good idea...........

Fingers crossed.

I know quite some time has now passed since the theft but, as we frequent many ports on the West coast of France on a regular basis, we will keep an eye out here also.....

As a very regular traveller back and forward on the car ferries to the UK (every two weeks) i'm quite disapointed with the attitute of port security/customs....
Over the last 6 years of going back and forward, i have trailered across 4 ribs, all above 5.5m in length (and all mine before anyone asks...) and also a 6.5 Beneteau sport fisher.
Not once while exiting the country have port security/customs ever asked me to either prove ownership or show valid registration documentation for any of the boats....including the very indescrete sport fisher.
They are only intrested in dangerous weapons/contraband/people hidden in the tow vehicle.
What a shame, as not only would more stringent checks on boats leaving the country act as a deterrent but also, if a simple record of what went where and on what date was kept it would help our local constabulary with any potential investigations.

Anyway, as mentioned, we will remember to check around here too.
