Apparently 6 RIBS went missing from their moorings in the Solent area over the weekend. Seems they are targetting those with 300hp Verado's.

Yeah, I saw on Solent Boating FB page about the Cobra off Seaview - both because I know Seaview yacht club and I have a Cobra.

Surely they must be going in containers & being shipped abroad, 300hp verados must be hard to punt in the uk with no history. I'd expect they are identifiable via their ecm if ever plugged into dealer diagnostics. Meaning the new owner would have to know not to go to a dealer with a problem
