Al's Rib has now been found a mile away in a farmer field missing engines.
They drilled out locks ripped down fences and the a frame caught the barbed wire and pulled the fence posts down. Unknown how they removed the engines as yet. All this in slepy Dorset!

Hi Ollyit
Correct they are big and silver, they must have had a crane as I doubt they could hand lift it. When Al finds the Serial Numbers I'll post them.

not good news, its quite a distinctive commercial boat, especially with the a-frame being a bit different from the ones that quite a few of the police units have.
will keep a look out

Its probbably because its so destinctive they only took the engines.
The A frame was damaged, lumps missing from the console, the engine bolts were removed with a gas axe inc the lock bolts. They also nicked the anchors and the spot lights for good measure.
They cut the locks on other boats to move them so they could geet to Al's rib to move it.
So if anyone offers you a good deal on S/H Honda 90's ???

From the owner:
Hello all,
First of all, a big thank you to everyone's efforts and sympathy concerning the theft of my boat. To bring you up to speed I do have insurance, a few heart stopping moments there whilst I checked I can tell you.
The boat has been found, the thieves would appear to be rather professional. They stole a 4x4 to tow it (which was abondoned) and they use a gas axe to cut through my engine locks, though obviously not on my wheel clamp, as that would have been something of a let down on the old tyre stakes.
The A-frame is more banana shaped now, as although 4x4 can fit through the hole cut in fence the boat on way out can't, though I guess you ain't going to care if it is not yours.
There are random holes in the console where all the cabling was removed, th trailer has been re-engineered with a fence post at 20 mph and there is a hole in the tube. And the little sh1ts nicked my bilge pump, do they have any idea how long that took to install? - buggers.
The transom is looking more like the sausages you would have found on one of Pete's bbq gigs and they ripped out the electronics and left them by the boat, cheers.
On a high note they also took my batteries, which were onlu useful for anchors.I managed to leave the batteries switched on and they were toasted after a couple of months like that, and th
So if anyone knows of a seagul engine I could buy and drop on the back I am your man, cheers for now.
I think Al might be jokeing on the Seagul.

Sorry to hear about your RIB.
Shame lynch mobs are illegal. Its the only answer for scum like that.
I'll put the word around in this neck of the woods. If anything is offered around I'll let you know.
Hope your insurance company treat you well.

Gents
This was not my boat by my friends and it was stored for a while in Plymouth as thats were he lives but it was at a brokers premises when it was stolen.
Details on the engines below:
Be aware two 90hp Honda's have been stolen
Engine nos: BBBL4001661 and BBBL4001555 (though they are probably no longer marked)
They have stainless steel props, quiksilver 19 inch pitch.
Also the engine casing air intake has crack both engines.
