Hondawave tender nicked in Ile De Brehat

Hi all,

Just had a fantastic weekend camping in Ile De Brehat (1 hr run from Jersey).

Will post more about the weekend in the main forum, but bad news was that our tender (grey/blue 2m honda thing) was nicked from the quayside on Friday night.

The gendarmes and locals were disinterested. Just posting this as a warning really, and any suggestions for how to secure a tender in a foreign port?

All the best

Freetrader.

Doesn't look like anybody is interested in your boat on here either!!

Hard to secure a tender if you are ashore. You could l suppose lock it to something, using a chain or long cycle type lock.

That would stop opportunist theft at least.
