7 engines taken in last 5 days from the Pwllheli, Gwynedd area.

Unfortunately Junior Ribsters engine from 'j-rib' was among those stolen. They disabled cctv, cut through the fence then used machinery to remove the engine leaving the vessel in awful condition, potentially a right off!!

If anyone has any information please contact the police immediately or info@jrib.co.uk

Our engine was a yamaha f40 with less than 70 hours. 2 from Abersoch have gone, 4 from Nefyn and 1 from Pwllheli. This happened within the last 24hours!!! Please be aware that they are probably still in the area!

This is horrible, Was this the RIB you have only just managed to fund?

I really hope they catch the people who have done this!!

Unfortunately yes, the VHF was due to be fitted next week and our plan was to launch early summer. This is now postponed until further notice. We will be speaking with our insurers tomorrow.

We can ensure our members and followers that despite this being a substantial set back, we will however still be active and hope to have the vessel or a vessel on the water this summer.

Our sympathy is also with those that have had engines stolen this weekend pre-season.

If those responsible are reading this, please note that you will be caught and you will be taken to court! Police are on your trail and evidence has been gathered and CSI are still to this very minute making good findings!
