Guys i was down Budds farm (my bold-this is in Langstone Harbour)about 20mins ago and i got approached by what i can only call pikeys and they asked if i new anyone interested in buying boat gear,i asked what, and got told" what you need" engines, electrics, small marina 9cc out board they wanted 200 quid for the engine, they also said they have a fishfinder and bits.It might pay you guys to go and check your boats.
I dont know if they were genuine people or not,so just a little heads up guys.
The car that they got out of was a beaten up red vauxhall vectra estate i think.

You'd think that since they have found television fame, and achieved showbiz personality status they wouldn't need to thieve any more.....

This was on Twitter at 4.49pm today from Hamps Marine Unit
"The black 'S' registered Audi A3 is still of interest to us in connection with thefts from boatyards, the occupants may be eastern european"
This is how it was sent out on 10th Jan
Boatyards and marinas be on the look out for an 'S' registered black Audi A3. Sussex have had sightings of one following marine thefts!

You would think with all the ANPR cameras around they would have no problem filtering by reg and then make/model to determine where the vehicles have gone?

From a chap I know who works in the CCTV section of our local plod, I believe an unrecognised number, or partial, mis printed etc.... Is flagged, therefore it should not be hard to track them from the flagged up reports to find out where they have gone. They have cars pulling people with mis-printed personalised plates, how hard can it be to track known criminal vehicles?
