"taken on trailer from secure compound with CCTV and perimteter secure fob access ..." is it just too easy to steal boats these days ? I have noticed a few times seeing boats on trailers on the road with the reg on the lightboard not matching the vehicle towing them, even seen one go past a cop car and no action taken by cop car.

Not the nasty type of munging, obviously. That's pretty nasty. And not something to be done in a boatyard...

Mine's akin to the Western Australian version - mooching about. i.e. having a look around (before / after trailer jobs).
