Good news-got this on Facebook earlier:-

Quote:
The RIB has been recovered today from south Gloucester. It was found on the car park of Pilning Railway Station... after being dumped or dropped off by the thieves...they may live or be camping locally however this could be a coincidence of course!!!

Thank you all for taking an interest in this theft and keeping it newsworthy. It shows the power of social networking, when Network Rail in Gloucester located the boat and called SARA (severn area rescue association). SARA having seen the information on facebook confirmed the boat was indeed stolen from Worcester. Phone calls were made within the rescue community and within a short space of time i had received a call from colleagues alerting me to the location and contact details of the Network Rail managers in South Gloucester. Leading to the recovery of the rescue boat this afternoon from Pilning Railway Station.

Thanks again to all of you for listening, watching and talking. As without your interest this boat would never have been recovered and the thieves would have won. So sorry Mr. Thief you lost.
