Hampshire Constabulary - Boat stolen on the Isle of Wight
The theft took place between 9pm on Saturday July 20, 2013 and 4am the next morning. The 5.2 meter craft and 50hp Yamaha engine have a combined value of about £5,000.
Investigating officer PCSO Derek Howard of the East Cowes Safer Neighbourhoods team said: The Valiant inflatable rib, was stolen from moorings, near to the Folly Inn, Whippingham. The RIB is red, with a black strip around the tubes, with black anti fouling. An 'A' frame is situated at the rear. On top of the 'A' frame is a small solar panel, supplying power to the battery. The RIB has two white bench seats, with blue waterproof covers. Very faintly the words, 'AAA MARINE', are visible on the tubes. A Yamaha 50hp engine was also stolen with the RIB
