10th Annual Nacho Run - Sun 6th Jan 2019

As Avocet (Dave/Grimalkin) can't make it for the 10th Annual Nacho Run to the Wheatsheaf in Yarmouth (IOW) next year (ie Jan 2019) I thought I'd deputise for him.

As usual. it will be weather dependant - but the plan will be to head to the Wheatsheaf in Yarmouth for about 12.30 on the 1st Sunday of the New Year.

All being well I'll be in Black Adder - leaving Southampton Dry Stack at about 11am so should get to Yarmouth just after midday.

Will (probably) use VHF Ch08 + monitor 16.

Normal protocols apply: everyone / anyone coming is responsible for their own planning. Ideally try to arrange small groups of boats for passage planning and we'll try and meet up on the way past Calshot/ the Hamble/ Cowes - but at the end of the day just make your way to Yarmouth!

Nearer the time I'll let the Wheatsheaf know expected numbers, but with the variable weather we usually get in Jan it won't be a firm booking - just a guess!

Weather permitting I'll be there in Lunasea departing lower Hamble: Warsash or maybe Hamble Point c.11.00. Local HT 11.00, LT 16.52

Happy to RV Calshot with others c.11.20-11.30ish.

Two of us look forward to joining you on Go Ballistico for our first Rib Net jaunt, we will be leaving KB boat stack anyone else leaving the Portsmouth area and would like to head down together?

I've let the Wheatsheaf know we are planning to be there on Sunday 6th Jan - and will confirm our best guess of numbers nearer the time.

Currently it's about 12 people so won't be a problem anyway.

Hi Trevor , all things being equal, Paradiddle +2 would hope to be able to join you at the Wheatsheaf and will probably see you at the Drystack beforehand.

If you have no other company ex Portsmouth, most welcome toRV with us off Calshott c.11.20-11.30. Will listening on Ch16 / 08.

The current forecast is looking good.
I've provisionally booked for 20 and I think there are 18 so far but I'll amend it up or down nearer the time.
