13th annual Pasty run - 5th July 2025

The 13th Annual Pasty Run will take place in and around Plymouth on the 5th July with Sunday the 6th used for a 2nd run, time to be confirmed as some of us are safety boating around lunchtime.

Following the successful Pasty Hunt of 2024 the 2025 event will again take on a bit of a theme - hunting the pasty – instead of a straight A-B run.

Meeting point one will be at the Breakwater Fort, Plymouth Sound – assembling there at 11:00 hrs.

Upon arrival each vessel will receive an envelope, the envelope will contain an item and an instruction on the location of meeting point two. Do not open the envelope.

Head off to meeting point two, and upon arrival collect a 2nd envelope and an instruction to meeting point three. Do not open the envelope.

Head off to meeting point three, and upon arrival collect a 3rd envelope and an instruction to meeting point four. Do not open the envelope.

Head off to meeting point four, find a berth, grab a pasty and a pint and, when all arrive – get ready to congratulate the run winners.

As with the previous 12 pasty runs, this is not a timed event but one designed to be a cruise in company, enjoying some of the history of the National Marine Park and surrounding locations whilst ensuring fun and enjoyment in good company is guaranteed.

This will be approx. 30nm outbound and 2nm return with HW at 1400hrs. There is a back up sheltered, shorter trip should the weather not play ball, using the same approach.

Saturday evening’s entertainment will be arranged, as per normal, during the day for those staying and joining.

Sunday timings are to be confirmed once the day’s Safety Event details are known for those partaking.

They'll be opened at the final venue whilst eating a pasty.

Hi Andy,

Hope to join this year. As before, if there are others from Torbay or Dartmouth wanting to cruise down in company happy to co-ordinate timings / meeting points

Anything planned for Sunday- a bijou run to Salcombe for a second pasty?

Bob

Hello

Be good to get you there this year - I'm awaiting times for the yacht race I'm baby sitting on the Sunday. If it's an early race it'll be an afternoon cruise to Calstock or Salcombe.

If it's later, breakfast at Salcombe is always good

With high tide being mid afternoon, I suspect it'll be a breakfast run..........
