Chris,
Sorry I cannot be with you this time around, things to do (not least of which is to get the Opti serviced!). Hope you have a good run, see you next time hopefully.

Fine as it is. I ate at the Folly on Monday, I should have asked but has the menu changed over the winter.
Maybe you can let me know.
Intending to visit again next week so will ask then......................

Where are we going??????????????????????
Originally the plan was to try to head towards Christchurch but people have not mentioned it.
Please indicate now where you want to go.........
I suggest we go with the majority vote from below.
Weather:
Cloudy, some possible rain, northerly 5mph wind with a max temp of 9 degrees celcius (will post something better tomorrow)

Unfortunately I shall no longer be able to attend on Saturday - it seems I was booked in to teach a VHF course I'd forgotten about!
Am planning on being out and about on Sunday though.

Christchurch would be good - not been there before - but happy to go wherever... cowes/folly is only a 10 min trip for me though (plus medina travelling time).. so would like to go further a field...

Like Benc, Cowes / Folly is a bit dull for me too. Christchurch would be fine if no one relies on me to get us in given my track record on sand banks. But happy to burn further depending on weather.

I've just had the gel coat sorted on on some scuffs on my hull - and I have no idea where they came from - problem with sharing the boat I guess - so I won't be following you bruce ;0)
What other suggestions do people have? I have been past christchurch a few times, but never really felt brave enough to venture in

Well Christchurch seems popular so shall we go with that?
I agree that the Folly is a bit tame for us too!!!
Some info on Christchurch:
