1st & 2nd July - Rib Raid Pwllheli - PLEASE READ IF YOUR COMING

Guys, these are the final details for the Rib Raid as i'm going to be very busy this week. So please print these off and bring with you.

Friday: Ill be around all afternoon to help with Launching from the main slip. Mooring and trailer parking is arranged and you will be pointed in the right direction on arrival. I reccomend you launch on the friday evening if possible. We will be drinking etc in the Marina Boat club which is 100 yards from the slip. PLEASE DO NOT USE THE MARINA BOAT CLUBS PONTOON.

Saturday: More launching untill 11am, 11.30am (Latest to make tides) we will cruise Pwllheli, Cricieth, Porthmadog, Barmouth for Lunch (lots af cafes/pubs/chip shops). Some boats will go on to Aberdyfi/Aberystwyth and some return to Pwllheli.

BBQ: 7pm Marina Boat Club £7 eat as much as you like, Cheap Drink at the bar, PLEASE DO NOT USE THE MARINA BOAT CLUBS PONTOON.

Sunday: 10.30 - 11.00 Cruise to Porth Dinllaen (nr Morfa Nefyn) and return for mid late afternoon for recovery.

I have a few requests -

PLEASE DO NOT DO MORE THAN A WAKELESS 4 KNOTS IN PWLLHELI HARBOUR

PLEASE DO NOT USE THE MARINA BOAT CLUBS PONTOON

PLEASE FUEL UP BEFORE YOU LAUNCH IF POSSIBLE

Directions: From the A499 or A497, enter Pwllheli, and take signs for Abersoch.

Directly after Co-op and Train Station, take the first exit (left) at the mini roundabout onto Embankment Road. Carry on along this road for approx ¾ mile (you will pass the Inner Harbour on your left). At the mini roundabout, take the first left onto Morfa Garreg. Continue through the housing estate. You will pass Ian Russell Powerboats on your left. Take the second left after Ian Russell Powerboats, slipway in front of you.

Somone slipped on the pontoon and took the club to court for about 10k. They were not members so the clubs insurance didnt cover them (only club members to use the pontoon), so the comitee ended up paying the scally £10k out of their pockets

The Powerboat club are letting us use there facilities free of charge as long as we DO NOT USE THE MARINA BOAT CLUBS PONTOON !!!!!!!

Anyone uses it i shoot them with a white rocket flare !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Blimey you break your neck on some dodgy pontoon and some B shoots you with a white flair, so lets see that's £10k for the broken kneck + say another £10k for X degree burns that's 20k for 2 minutes work welcome to Wales
