Glad your coming Peter, I'm sure there will be enough 4X4's there to help everyone launch. I know I'm a little worried about my VW tansporter.
I'm too young for him!

I plan to be launching from Haslar in Gosport if anyone wants a hand, I'd be pleased to help.

There are lots of slips available along the coast of Gosport and Lee on Solent and for the cost of a ticket for both the car and trailer, they're all free for launching and most have full tide or 3/4 tide access.

I prefer Haslar Slip as it's the only decent one apart from Camber in Portsmouth for launching inside the protection of the Harbour. The only major downside is that it's not got full tidal access. +/- 3hrs either side of HW is a good guide, however you can launch earlier than that most days. I wouldn't come back any later than the 3hrs after HW just in case you've got some Twat fuffing about with a recovery. It drys very fast!

I plan on being there (cant miss the chance of seeing Chewy in a dress LOL)! Not got a 4x4 but if one is needed for launch and recovery I'm more than willing to make a donation to anybody who can offer a tow in and out?

Think I'm taking the Discovery mate although you can only have one or the other, see me in my wig or have your boat launched!

well stop fannying around and get a cheap tarp from B&Q and cover the boat, stick a fan heater in there and gas yourself with styrene fumes

Funky!

Don't know about you DG, but I think we may have to leave chewy and bam bam to it at the camp site.
