Want me to supply baby wipes?
This thread could become real material that even the bilges wont hold

Do you have to book a pitch at the campsite or is it just turn up and pay?

Think I will book a pitch too as I want electric hook-up for the fan heater and lights for the Friday and Saturday night.

confused

I thought you Tykes were supposed to be tough and didn't feel the cold so you won't need no fan heater. Also if DM's there you won't need a light as he tells me the sunlight shines out of his escape hatch.

How much north of Watford are you:

Watford must be south of Barnsley cos I've never heard of the place. The fan heater is to keep the boat warm and the light bulb is just to look and marvel at as we dont have that electric stuff at our house. Tha can bring thi orn pie-n-peas if tha wants ta sitwi us lad.

Jist of it was if he couldn't afford a boat he'd strap an outboard to his back so he didn't have to swim.
He owns a light bulb but has no means of accessing electricity, will be nice to see if if works.
Bam Bam once went to the big city and tried to turn a light on by lighting it with a match!

I've amended the title so that people don't have to wade through the whole thread. If someone wants to post a summary of the arrangements in a new thread then I'll lock it and sticky it!

Ellerslie Camp Site.

Just been and bought a nice 2 man tent and booked a pitch with electric hook-up at Ellerslie camp site for the Friday and Saturday nights. I was going to kip in the car but it means having to set-up or pack-up kit on a morning and evening. Now It can be left in the tent ready for use. Lets hope the weather and tides are kind.

I'm a little confused over Johns comment above. Does that mean you dont put a subject in the box when posting on a running thread? Cheers.
