A weekend with a load of old Northern men is a little worrying, but I'm sure it will be worth it ! I'll have a look at some of the links and try to find a tent or something.

its not them you need to worry about..........

I'm the essence of maturity.
And rack up your 'owing people pints' list, that way I wont have to owe them so many as they will be legless off you

Cheesy and crusty mate and trying to find a towel...How's you?

BTW Chewy and Doggy, so I can work out funds. What campsite we staying at, cost per night, will they let me sleep in my van etc? Any ideas?
Anyone worked out the cruising area yet so I know how much fuel I wont have by the end?
And why do people say "I saw it with my own eyes"? Bloody stupid remark.

And can we stop off at Bristol to cause Nos's Neighbour hell?

If its more than £6 per night I'm parking on the road!
My engine uses 5 gallon an hour at WOT yours is probably 10 gallons an hour.
Think we're going from somewhere on the south coast to that island in the channel and back.

Have you got your big tank fitted yet?

You could just leave your cheesy crusty towel at Nos's neighbours.

£6 a night for car and trailer? You'll be lucky mate. And it's pounds sterling down south. Non of this you can have me sister, or a ferret for the wife?
Hope it's not too much a night though.
My tanks been fitted in for months now, spent a good few trips out trying it in different positions to get it balanced right. Hopefully I'll be able to crack on wih the new console soon but the weather isn't playing the game.
Me and thea will have to find somewhere on the way down to meet up and start a convoy

I've got a Jack Russel Terrier and some scrotes, do they not except them down south, come to think of it are they scrotes or groats?

If I tow you and your trailer in (Top Gear style) do we still count as one vehicle?

We can borrow one of SevernCoxwains many radios and talk to each other on the way down.

Yeah, need someone to blame when we get lost.
Just been looking back through this thread to refresh on what's happening. Looks like we're launching near to where I bought my SR4 from.
Not sure yet but my brother might be coming along so could be traveling from the Rugby direction.

I cant remember!! i did ring a site a while back and they said no problem to a load od boats and ribnobburs sleeping in landrovers and cars
it was low season too so it was something like £3.50 for a pitch + £5 per person.
I think it was ellersleigh/ellersley (not sure of the spelling)its in an earlier post.
but thats central to all the decent slips anyway.
