4th Annual Nacho Run: 8 Jan 2012

Hard on the heels of today's successful 'Jolly to the Folly', I'm pleased to propose the Fourth Annual Nacho Run to Yarmouth (IoW) on 8 Jan 2012 meeting in The Wheatsheaf at 12.30 pm.

Following successful outings in 2009, 2010 and 2011 (January weather bearing testament to the durability of even quite small ribs to cross Poole and Christchurch Bays or cope with Solent chop at that time of year!), it seems right to continue the tradition to welcome in the New Year with the best Nachos in the South of England (and if you've not tried them, now's your chance!).

If you let me know before Christmas (by 23 Dec) if you're planning to come, I'll include you in the booking (subject ultimately, of course, to weather). After then, you take pot luck!

Hope, however, to see you there.

David

I'm in too !

Streaker will make it to I think its 3rd Nacho Run !

I'll have my hardy crew ( they need to be ! ) and maybe Nestors old owner too .

I may go from Lymington or Christchurch depending on weather .

Well: that's three boats already!

Technically, it's the Fifth Nacho Run since this year's actual Nacho Run was on 2 January but an Alternative one was arranged the following day by popular demand.

Must gave had brain freeze .....maths never a strong point , I wonder if thats why I dont work banks anymore ?

I will make up for it in 2012 with a strong performance I promise !( and not sure those reprobates I see in the 4th really make it count as the 4th ......? But Andy gets points for I think breaking his boat/engine hose in 2009 and turning back)

Counting really isn't your strong point: the reprobates are in the 3rd, not the 4th!

Yeh was a bit of a lesson in "things come in three's" but points don't make up for the fact I didn't have my "Fix" of Nacho's.

He's getting a bit old David. He also got the year that my RIB had a malfunction wrong too. It was in Jan 2010

It will be me and Simon - who came in 2010 and featured in the cinematic classic of 'two boats in sea' video. Launching Lymington unless its flat flat calm where upon I shall go from Christchurch.

Lymington 11.15 ish I expect if anyone else is going from there ?
