Lots of people going from both Lymington and Southampton Water, so you will be cruising in company from either of those locations.
I'm really looking forward to this (it will be my first nacho run as well).

Well.... that's partly the problem: have you counted the number of people!!!?
Gusting Force 10 off Hurst might sort the men from the buoys!

My choice would be cruise from Southampton what ever but not sure the wife would like it so if the weather looks a bit rough will leg it over from Lymington also trying to persuade a friend to come who has a Rib in Lymington.
I still haven't had chance to get my hands on his new boat yet with two 300 s on it

At last the engine problems on NEVER ENOUGH have been sorted so will take her for the run?
There will be four of us so it is going to be a big crowd in total not to mention quite a flotilla of ribs. Hopefully the weather will be fine.

Put me down too please, with 2 crew. Had a change if plans for that weekend so can now make it!
I'll need to tow down and launch hamble/Southampton, so where is the best place this time of year?
Is there a slip where several heading for? And what time?
I don't mind paying for the day if easy in/out and slip is decent. previously I've used Warsash and swanwick for free launches.

If we take the Searider we'll be using the slip under the Itchen Bridge in Southampton. Parking is (usually) available for £2.80 (I think) for a Sunday afternoon - but there's no loos very close by.
If I've read my tables right it's springs on the 5th with high tide late morning and low tide about 4pm. Recovering at low tide means a 4 x 4 would be useful as the lower part of the slip will be slippery, and there's a slight drop off at the bottom which you usually need to pull the boat and trailer over at low tides (It does mean you can usually recover without getting your feet wet though).

Thanks Chris & Trev,
Calshot closer but after itchen there's a good blast down Southampton water to be had , so liking that idea. Bottom of slip advice always handy, thanks! Have a 4x4 so will be ok.
I have not used itchen slip before but I think it has a pay and display at the top of it, and is that ok to leave trailer coupled on - I guess so.
Looking forward to it

I make it high tide 1351 (4.63m) for Southampton on the 5th Jan 14, and with the stand it should still be close to high tide at recovery time (1530 4.5m). At 1000am, which is probably my expected launch time, it's 2.2m
But I have not had a morning coffee yet so I could be looking at the wrong month, or even year
If the sea state has the word Moderate or greater in it, or the wind strength has a 6 or greater, I will be looking to not launch Tigga and hitch a lift in a longer rib. Will anyone have a spare seat in return for some petrol money?
Chris

Had a look at itchen, but as I have not used it before I am going to stick with where I know and launch at swanwick around 9am, which means we can meet up with those going from calshot around 10am
