The weather may well settle, forecast has been pessimistic lately round here

Sadly though regardless of the weather my RIB is not going to be repaired in time, a week today probably

This isn’t the same repair from last year is it? Seem to recall there was an issue a year ago also

Different issue, the boat gets used a lot so repairs and maintenance are endless

Tube patch this time around, by Ed at Tamar Inflatables

Someone may have a spare seat in return for a fuel contribution if you want to get out?

Looking a F4-5 NW and chilly Might have had the best day out yesterday.

Monday does look like it'll be a river cruise unless the wind drops - supposed to have been a f6/7 today North coast and it's as flat as a pancake out there

Sunday's trip to the lighthouse and then Looe for a pasty looks pretty sweet though

Torquay not having a space for you last night did you a favour Andy. No way we'd have got out this morning!

Went down to check the boat this morning to find the swell running into the marina had popped one of my really big fenders holding the dock away from the pontoon finger.

Thought I would check Bobs was allright, it was, but his end of the marina was moving so much it was hard to stay on your feet.

Calmed down now though. Think this coming week is going to be a gardening week.

No problem Bob. There were a lot of us checking lines and fenders this morning.

I've seen it blow a lot harder.
I guess it was just the perfect wind direction and tide this morning. Even the trawlers moored to the commercial side of the harbour were having a lively time of it. That's what made me decide to go and check Jazz.

Yes a strong NW does blow directly into the harbour and creates quite a swell despite the wavebreakers around the marina.

I do need to replace one of the front mooring lines - it has chafed through & there's a temporary one on there currently. Will do that with some 18mm when I'm down week after next. Might be worth running through a short length of pipe to prevent that in future. All other lines are fine.

9th annual Pasty run - 5th April

What a cracking day - didn’t see any other Ribnet people although heard 2 outbound on ch.14 from Saltash to Looe. Ran out to the Eddy quick run into Lantic Bay back along coast to local beach in Whitsand them back to Plymouth

I think today was the best day of the weekend.

I'm calling it now for tomorrow for me- forecast is N/NE F4+ from Brixham, so I won't be trying to slog it down to Salcombe and back

I expect it will be sheltered enough in and around Plymouth for those boats, so have a good day if you do brave it

Three of us met up and had 56 sea smiles of pure brain clearing enjoyment.

So flat it was 30 knots of fun (36.4 max).

Plymouth to Looe via an interesting view at a naturist camp site on bit secluded beach - not so sure they expected a flotilla sail by!!

A superb pasty then Eddystone for cake before back to the Barbican for tea. Bliss, pure bliss.

It was me on C14 Not sure if we'll even get out of the Sound tomorrow but we're going to try.........

Have fun tomorrow Andy, even if you stay North of the Breakwater

Forecast too blowy for me to justify a 140 mile drive each way to see if it's worth going out...I'll clock up brownie points with SWIMBO by getting ahead (well less far behind) on the jobs at home to free up better days.

Mmm what were you doing so close inshore unless acting on previous knowledge?

Easter never works well for the pasty run. Yesterday was just superb conditions but today will be 'interesting '.

Warm those brownie points and we'll spend them soon .

I'll look at a second date with better weather!!
