No you did the right thing. Imagine sitting round the table in good company having just gone most of the way round the island and nobody singing Happy Birthday to you and nobody knowing it was your birthday - unacceptable

Many Happy Returns Mark.
Have a good trip all - Grey Mist is a super rib.
Weather's great, I'm jealous.
Shame my arm is still recovering....earliest I'll be back on the water will be for the Nacho Run.

FANTASTIC DAY!
Great to meet other Ribnetters including Lee, Steve and Trevor who joined in their ribs and special thanks again to Andre for taking us out round the Island and into Yarmouth for lunch. Very comfortable ride on the Parker, thoughtfully designed and well built.
Hope to meet you all again out on the water sometime. Photos and video to come.
Steve

well we could not have had better weather . Super cruise in super company.
and just for the record I did not take you round the IOW it was you who took me . I did not get near the helm and at one time I was seated in the last row and after lunch I was not even on the rib with you
It was great that we were joined by other ribnetters like Lee on Katie, Trevor on Black Adder and Steve & Sarah on Grey Pearl .

I'll post up some pictures soon.

I am thrilled that everybody had a good time . I will for sure repeat this as it is much better to fill the seats than cruise alone.
this is Part 1 of the Jolly, enjoy

I'd be making sure the big smiley lad kept his eye on the bead and his hand on the throttle...

DTS levers so not a good idea at speed to have your hand on them. Different in heavy weather conditions but that is personal preference
