If any of Andres crew got some video/pics of Katie on Saturday we’d love a copy this way, PM me and I’ll send my email address over, thanks in advance

That was a great day out with a good mix of conditions and the weather couldn't have been better. Thanks for organising it Andre, it was good to meet up with a great bunch of fellow RIBnetters.
We'll post some pics and video when we get the chance.

Hi Lee, good to meet and see your Stingher 'Katie' close up. A big thanks again for the quick buzz off Yarmouth. Here's a couple of photo's I managed to take whilst on Grey Mist. Hopefully the rest of the crew on the day might have more.
Steve

Not as professional as Andre's but a couple of amateur videos here of Steve and Sarah on Grey Pearl between Yarmouth and Cowes. Excuse the thumb, as you can imagine cruising at 30+ knots I was holding the iPhone very tightly!

Hey Guys,
The best day out ever!
Hopefully the link works, it's a YouTube link cos the uploader into Ribnet doesn't!
Lee, Andre (and crew/gang), thanks for waiting for the wee 6m boat at the back
https://youtu.be/g263f4qDD98
Cheers Sarah xxx & Steve
PS we're faster than you ... when 1) flat water 2) from a standing start then then bigger boats catch up and take over

Yes great video clip
"Grey Pearl's" acceleration is very good
Does anyone know how to put some music on the GoPro clips?
I may now upgrade to Hero 7

Sorry I missed it, the videos look great!
I did launch my RIB on Saturday morning, but wouldn't have quite made it up to the Solent in time to join the circumnavigation, so headed to Weymouth for lunch instead and had a great run there and back.
Andre - what package do you use to edit the clips? I just use iMovie on my Mac, and you can easily select music in that. I've never tried the GoPro software, but would assume there's a similar music button in that, likely with a musical note graphic or something.

Paul, you could have gone anti-clockwise and met up with us head on and then had lunch in Yarmouth anyway there will always be another cruise.
this was one of the best cruise's in 2018 I have participated in especially since I was taken round and could enjoy the company and scenery without worrying about the driving.
I use the GoPro Studio software and can't remember seeing a music button but there is a microphone button which I have never tried

Thanks Andre. Odd, I checked before posting the vids and again just now. They both appeared OK on PC but I can see an issue on the mobile platform so I'll re-post via YouTube.
For proper vids I use the older GoPro Studio - go into the Edit section and drag the music to the track area. I think though GoPro are now using more modern cloud-based software so it may be slightly different.
Steve

From your local music folder on PC/Mac or download from tinternet, careful of copyright laws though!
Alternatively you can add copyright free 'bland' material in the Youtube editor or elsewhere but you may not have the same level of volume/mixer control between video sound and the music you're adding.
Hope this helps.
