You're in that's the beds full - one double, three singles and one double sofa bed. Could do 1 or 2 more if someone really needs it, but I don't want to take the p!$$ out of biffers hospitality

"Wet and wild" is a quote thats sounds good for a stag do but not when its describing the weather! Which for this weekend it will be unfortunately.

However, this hasn't put me off just means dry suits and gecko will be packed!

There is not a plan yet but I think from speaking to a couple of rib nobbers today we are looking to meet in Southampton water between 1-2 on Saturday and depending on what the weather is doing on the day we can make a call where to go. One option could be there is a nice window of HW between 12-3 so if the winds remain SW and people (excluding MattH) don't fancy wave jumping on shingles bank then we could pop into Bembridge, Wootton Creek or even Camber Docks for lunch and a pint and have some protection from the wind.

Either way we can go with the majority anyone got ideas?

I'll be down at Calshot at 1pm on Saturday, I need to sort out the keys for Biffer's place, apart from that I'm all ready to go

Shall we all meet off Calshot RNLI pontoon near the large slipway at around 1:30pm and then off for a late lunch

Or I could get there earlier?

Will Mrs W be there to make the tea and the mini-whipers there to keep the kids (matt) entertained or just hit him with stuff....?

Edit- just heard my seats are done, but logistics of collection mean it may be a late call for appearance of the pornrider....i'll do my best even if it means a fit Sat morn - however the boat still has a hole that needs filling in the transom....

I may be arriving in a little more style on Grimalkin if my master plan fails.( thanks David ) ...should know more this evening.

No Mrs W and the little Whispers are not coming although the little Whispers would love the chance to hit naughty Matt with something or dump an arm full of leaves on his head again like at the sloop

An earlier launch would, with the high spring midday tide, allow lunch at either Newport or Newtown Creek for those as have not been there before (or even those that have!). Ashlett Creek would also be possible (although not much of a ride from Calshot!)

Its a good point Avocet has made. I'm easy (so to speak) with timings for meet up, also looks like the rain and cloud cover is easing for the weekend (Gecko still packed though).

For those wanting a later start on Saturday we could still do lunch on the Sunday.

Will go with the majority. usual channel 8 and I think we all have each others mobile numbers so if some want to get on the water early we can always connect up after those have had lunch for a blast. Anyone else coming out?
