As Trevor says, Mainbrayce for fuel 01481 822772 but you will need to give them some notice as it is only available via cans. They only have diesel on pump.
I always find this website the most accurate for local wind speed.

I'm pretty sure the quayside fuel suppliers had a jiggle tube for dispensing which made it pretty quick. I do have one on board if anyone wants to borrow it for unleaded transfers. As long as Thursdays storm blows through then the weather for the weekend is looking quite good now.

Morning All,
Regrettably we are going to have to bail out here. A number of reasons (not weather related) mean we might just be able to see you off but will not be joining you for the trip this time.
Please could you remove Gwen and myself from the food order?
Also, anyone looking for accommodation for this trip, we have 2 rooms booked here.
Farm Court - Alderney
(actually in the owners house which has extra rooms) both en suite rooms
That will be available if anyone wants to take them on?
please pm for further details.
Cheers
Howard.

Quick!! I've taken on fuel there at lowish water. 20ft of head sends the petrol in faster than the vent can get the air out! Bedajim gave his decks their annual unleaded wash.

Hi,
The weather forecast for me is touch and go and on this occasion, having just had my boat fixed and not wanting to chance any mid channel issues in a possible f4-5, I am regrettably pulling out.
Chris, Could Andy C and Alan C be removed from the dinner list please. I hope that doesn't cause you issues going from Poole.
On the plus side for those going, I have undoubtedly invoked Sod's law and it will now be flat calm and glorious sunshine. Have a great trip.
Andy
