I just got back from the future.
So, with just under two months to go - there is no rush to make plans.

Tim,
Whilst I will continue to monitor this thread, I will have to bow out as my crew can't do the Friday now.
Cheers

Hi Mick
Gin Palace is fine you will see it if you come with us or meet up.
Thread has gone quiet of late and a couple have dropped out .
So if any are still interested please add your names so we have an idea of what we can organise food wise in Alderney.

Hi All,
cant believe its the Alderney Cruise time already. I noticed that someone asked whether anyone was going to stay for longer. I would like to stay on for a few more days maybe explore the other islands. Looking forward to seeing everyone again

Yes - It was me who wanted an extra couple of days but there was no takers at the time. the reason for that was that unfortunately 'er in doors is actually 'er at work on Friday 23rd meaning we couldn't go until the Saturday. I have now decided to fallback on a Weymouth trip which we are doing on Saturday 24th when 'er indoors can join me and be 'er on the boat. Just in case things change though, I will continue to follow this one - you never know....

Hi Tim
Dizzy Lizzy has now been sold - and we have converted to "Blue Ray"
We are still intending to do the run though - me and two crew - one is Richard (age 12) who would love to do part of the trip on a Jet Ski if anyone will give him a ride!

I have hesitated adding my name to the list only because I will be coming with the Jersey contingent rather than with you from "the other side" . However I am already booked into a hotel on Friday and Saturday, so will be definitly in attendence. What do you plan on doing on Saturday, taking the boats around the island or whatever , or staying ashore?
My current rough plan is to stay on Jersey thursday night (probably camping) then come up with Martini, Erin and any others on the Friday. So shall I tentativly start a list for those coming from Jersey...?
I assume these are fairly solid assumptions...?
Gotchiguy - Into the Red (2pob)
Erin - La Frette (??pob)
Tony t - ??? (??pob)
Oliver,
P.S sorry if I have made incorrect assumptions on the list. :P
P.P.S. just noticed Martini is coming over from your side

Good question, whatever the plan is we will do our best to make it good.
Current wining/dining plan is:
Friday - fishy chippy byo
Saturday - bbq at the sailing club or possibly a pub round the corner (if they can do a good deal)
Nothing firmed up yet, will need a rough idea of number soon really.
