Please can the Jersey crew add their name for the BBQ .
I think that just about covers it don't for get your customs forms and q flag to be flown 3 miles off shore when returning to blighty if you are going to buy and duty free goods.Flares , food and spare fuel vhf 72 for comms Radar reflectors as well please.
Departure is 1030 from Safewater mark the needles straight line run to Alderney .
upon arrival at Braye you need to find the transits to take you in so as to avoid the submerged breakwater. Martin may post a pic like last year.

And I wouldn't worry too much about the sunken breakwater. Unless you draw the same as a cruise liner, you should be fine. Ultimately the skipper's decision though

I concur. The tide on the Friday in neapy, low water is 2.2m (the inner harbour is moist at that height) at 12:30. So by the ETA of 13:30/14:00 the tide will have started to come up and there will be several meters over the shallowest part of the sunken breakwater.
Incidentally the proposed ETA is just before slack water, such as it is.
When the weather brightens I will go out and take some pics of the approach and mooring options.
I shall fore-warn the Chippy and Offy that we shall be about 40 on the friday night, and see if the farm can do us a bargain box of burgers, sausages and steak for a similar number. Someone still needs to volunteer to cook on the barbie, we are happy to help with prep.
Mackerel are a bit illusive at the moment, but they are about for those who have the skills.

Of course we are still planning on an RV with the Jersey ribbers if any are to be going up on the Friday as planned, since I know Keith is going up earlier will it only be Matt going up in Martini II on the Friday or is Tony coming in the Cougar? Our current plan is to camp or b&b on Jersey Thursday night and then come up Friday. However we're still contemplating going for the 80nm all in one go on Friday morning, although this may not be fully practical
Edit : Just a quick thought, would it not make sense to share MMSIs with each other in order for private comms or to regroup two groups or whatever?

Don't forget that there is an official RIBnet group MMSI: 023 200 057
There's also a list of everyone's MMSI numbers too.

We've not decided exactly when we'll be going up, so may still cruise with you on the friday. The plan would be to arrive well in advance of the UK contingent to sample the beer and ensure it is fit for purpose.
I'll post my MMSI, but don't be surprised if you don't get through first time, I've not used it yet, so it'll be a steep learning curve.
Mart - I have been known to flip the odd burger on a barbie, but wouldn't want to volunteer on my own!

I was also aware of the Ribnet MMSI, but what can you do with this, as in what do you do with it, what happens if you ring it up?
