We’re closely watching the weather for this weekend and if it stays as currently forecast then we’ll probably pop over Saturday morning, not sure if it’ll be for the weekend or just a day trip - weather and work commitments and all that

We are planning on coming up from Jersey for the week. Exact dates subject to weather but Friday looking probable.

Company’s always welcome
We do leave fairly early and get there for breakfast, were based in Yarmouth - cross fingers the weather is kind to us!

Weathers forecast still looking good for a crossing Saturday, I’m 95% confirmed - will be leaving western Solent early doors

Hi Paul
If the weather stays OK I'm possibly/probably hoping to go across for the Fireworks next weekend (Sat 10th). Currently the weather is looking good to go across Friday or Saturday and come back on Sunday 11th.
As usual, if I go I'll camp as there is always space and the decision can be left for the last minute!

Unless it changes back (like the anticipated new low pressure centre ends up a bit more north), the chances of coming over are now decidedly slim!

Wasn’t too bad today, cruised over in two hours, in Bray harbour for 9am and then breakfast in ‘The Moorings’ , hired a car and spent the rest of the day exploring the many fascinating world war 2 gun emplacements, forts and of course the stunning beaches! Wind started picking up later in the afternoon so headed home - first 1/3 of the return crossing was very lumpy with a nasty beam sea, that kept our speed down but once past the shipping channels the sea state calmed a little and we were able to average 35 knots till back in the Solent and onto Yarmouth. Blinding trip!
