Well we finally got home this evening after a very enjoyable lunch with Erin on Jersey. And all thanks to him we now have fully functioning AIS for the first time! Today's track (sort of) can be found here.

We/I have spent a very enjoyable week with new and old friends, and I meant to check how many engine hours but quite a few... I reckon Into the Red has covered over 300nm so we have done a sizable distance and burnt lots of fuel

I have just spent the last couple of hours editing some of the video I took of the round the island on Saturday, just because I wanted to have the first video up!

I've finally managed to put the video together and upload it in HD.
As usual - no music (I've a version with music from Example - but haven't worked out how to legally put music to a video and You-tube it yet - any advice would be welcome).
As we stayed longer and went on to Guernsey, Ile de Brehat and Sark with Gotchiguy and Avocet the video's a bit longer than the 5 mins I try and get it down to.
Also - note to self and others - keep wiping the cover of the GoPro every few mins on longer run as I've lots of hazy footage where the sea mist / light spray has dried on the cover making the video almost unusable.
