The loos and showers are fine - but we should check if the shop will be open in the morning for breakfast - I seem to recall that once it gets to August the shop does a good cooked breakfast, but I'm not sure if it opens early enough to be useful for breakfast the week before.
We'll be camping whether the shop's open or not. If it's not the "van" behind the yacht club does good breakfasts .

If you can put up with a slightly harsher ride than 'teeny 2' then there's always a spare seat on La Frette .

A good range, smallest is probably 6m though some of the Sportsboat & Rib forumites are thinking of smaller, largest is 9m. The more the merrier.

I have now increased ours to x 4 as Phil is hoping to come along for the trip.
He may need to try and get a ride back with someone on Sunday - but we'll sort this nearer the time.

Probably up to 5 on board now as Rick wants to take a friend.
Hope the weather doesn't spoil it all - although today sunstroke would be a bigger danger!

Three weeks to go!
Huge thanks to Erin's Mum who has once again offered to open the Sailing Club bar just for the cruise arrival. There will be cream teas served in the afternoon too.
Time to start thinking about passage plans and passing these on to Trevor for collation, please also let Trevor have contact details which we will re-distribute before the day.
Edit: I have updated the Floptilla page, but nothing is set in stone yet:

Meeting Point
Trevor, are we meeting in the shelter of Alum Bay before heading off to the SWM?
Who's staying into next week?

Hi Paul
Yes - Unless anyone's coming directly from the Poole area I would suggest that we try and rendezvous either in Alum Bay or just off Yarmouth. At least that way we are still in mobile phone range in case anyone's running late - once out at the Fairway Buoy you lose mobile phone coverage and most of the Solent is out of radio range.
We are certainly intending staying into the next week - not sure how long for yet but that depends on what the weather's like and what anyone else wants to do.

would prefer to make part the journey home in company before heading to Portland.

If we are seriously considering that distance for the extension then I think there may be nicer places to go than Jersey? Minquiers is great but Jersey wouldn't really be on our list to see? Perhaps thats because we go fairly regularly. There's loads of stuff to do though so we are happy to join in with whatever
