Just bringing this one back up, we are talking to sponsors and trying to make other arrangements and will soon be talking to the HM and other organisations in order to be able to make preparations.

Using that I think we can expect an average boat to be able to navigate the "wide" course in half an hour and use 12.5 ltrs.

It may be wise to set a rule that we usually use in the 'round Alderney' sailing races, that being to keep all rocks to port (assuming a westabout departure from Braye). Would be safest for the ppl without local knowlege and probably those of us who have forgotten a few of the transits .

"All" is a movable feast though, you cannot expect people to go around Pierre au Vraic and (one of the) Blanchards can you?

And surely it is not a proper race unless people can cut through the Brimtides?

And perhaps over an occasional causeway.

NB Don't forget that most people trying to go around Suaquet hit it, whereas everyone passing inside are fine.
