It's been left since 10th Nov in an internal tank with breather open - but the boat is in a barn so hasn't been in the rain.
Fingers crossed.
Sorry about the thread hijack and random change in direction. Opps

Cheers guys. Seem to be turning into a right worrier at the moment.
Never had these worries before. Last season it was left full and just went out!
Think I will top it up with V power at the nearest station then tow it to the slip to mix it all up good and proper.

Got some C12 in the garage great for air cooled or high comp motors

15 yrs of using fuel in 2 strokes, from carbed to Optis that has not been used for more than 6 months each winter and we've never had a problem.

Not that we have ever tried starting the engine mind. But never had a problem with it sat "on station" with old fuel in!

yes, Chris Ty Calch has an excellent slip and tractor launching, think it was £15 last season which includes car/trailer parking and launch/recovery, plus Chris will keep an eye on your car and trailer while your out, still don't know how they work out which trailer to get when you come back, amazing
clockwise, or anti clockwise, guess it will be a decision on the day unless Mr T has a cunning plan, though I doubt it knowing Mr T
it's approx 85 miles round the island, depending on which way round you go, hopefully 180l will get you round with loads to spare, think I used around 100l last year and that was on a touch rough day so with smoother water should do better
by the way, kids are meant to drive us mad, our son is 26 n he's worse now than when was 6

Can anyone recommend somewhere to park the boat overnight on the Friday, we have looked at hotels in Caernarfon travelodge and premier inn and also Bangor, but they don't have any on site parking,
Can anyone recommend somewhere for two adults and two Kevin's to stay, on a budget but with car and boat parking, need the money for fuel!

give Chris Ty Calch a call, if he can't fit you in his yard there are two other local storage sites which I'm sure Chris will be happy to arrange for you, there is a large car park two minutes walk away from both the travel lodge n premier inn in caernarfon, ok for your car but not for the boat

Ed, thought part of the selling your boat deal was the new owner could only have it until after the easter cruise?
