My young 'un was on the boat from being about 12 months old. She did her first trip up the sound of Mull at 18months. She was catching & gutting mackerel at 5, diving for flatties & scallops at 12. Trekked across Costa Rica at 16. She's now a confident outgoing 23 year old & she's fazed by nowt. Character building; start 'em as early as you can & you'll not go far wrong.

The weather is going to be fine tomorrow (Friday) I was out Wednesday at low tide over the bar, bouncy but fun. Pilots cove was beautiful as the tide turned and the wind dropped.
