I agree with tony and Chris. Get an economical engine on it, get out more and give your mates a 'cracking' time 😁

How did one of the passengers end up in the drink?
Anyway, just checked XC weather and Saturday looks crap
So I may launch Sunday or Monday (Best Weather) and will make a decision by Saturday night

Ed, are you still thinking of a return trip on Saturday, I'm off to get fuel so I'll be ready either way
Gareth, stop messing about with weather forecasts, just get the thing launched, if it rains the wind will soon dry you off

Agreed, why we own ribs not bayliners! I only get the odd time window so want to get out whatever!! It's taken a few years mind to build up confidence though and understand what's achievable and what's daft, but I keep finding it'll do more!!!
Our biggest limitation is rowing the 20m in the dinghy!!! :-0

for me the biggest thing isn't so much the launch in or getting battered while you're out there, is more getting the rib back on the trailer safely, I'll always give up n head for home before the ribs had enough
let's know when you're launching Gareth n we'll catch up for a blast together
hopefully launching around 10'ish tomorrow HP so that should be about right if you're heading this way, but no rush to get back for me, I've got a pass out for good behaviour

That's a great bit of GoPro footage Nugent, just shows the rough! We had a great day, here's a few pictures and a bit of footage we took in the straights.

Great idea to have the MOB recovery exercise on the way towards the Swellies. I'll show this to the Leader of the Opposition and tell her it's mandatory on our next trip...
