Anglesey - August bank hol w'end
Who, where, when and what for?!
A thread to let others know what you're intending. Be it a cruise, fish or beer, if you'd like company, tell us.
I'm unsure of which day I'll be down but will certainly make one day for a blast up the strait and hopefully a pint somewhere from Ty Coch to Conway!!

Anglesey - August bank hol w'end
Mooring not morning I presume! Unless you're after an early beer. ;-)
Jetty works for about 80% of a big tide. 100% on a small one.
There's a chain down most of the middle to tie to now. Plus the three posts.
As for which side, there's usually more depth on the beaumaris side but it depends on wind and/or tide so your boat is protected from waves. If no wind/waves just go down tide so you don't get pushed on when you're leaving. Take your pick depending on the day. There's little to hit, no big rocks or owt on either side. Except off the end of the jetty it doesn't end at the post!!!! There's a wooden frame that extends out about 20ft, so as you buzz from one side to the other at low water and it's not exposed, watch your prop.
