Wow

What a wicked day,, seen so much, loved all the coves and new scenery,,
Nice to put more faces to forum members names, great bunch of fellow rib bobbers,,

Massive thanks to tecnowill for leading me back in over the bar. ,, did not fancy that on my own for the first time,,
To be fare we had a lovely cruise back, see was like a mirror fast ferry coming across us dolphins seals kin ace,,

I had. Few issues on my maiden voyage,,
Who put that sand bank under my boat out side Chris,s ?
Had a slight miss fire at full chat,, later on in the day when I added yet another 60 ltrs to her,, this totally cleared it self and run like a dream there after ,
And of all the places to pull up with an oil slick,,, the Skerries where there was not to many people to witness me fouling up the place,, Greenpeace would not be happy,,
My two stroke oil cap had come undone on the engine header , thus allowing it to constantly top it self up from the main tank,,,and spew it every where,,,as you lot may of seen ,,

Chuffed with the vessel.
Hit the magic 58knots 67 mph when I was down to know fuel , but was running 54knots 63 mph with 100ltrs or so in there also ,,presume my hand held gps is accurate !!!

Great company. Looking forward to moerfre now,,

Hope the fishing got better,, when me and Mike got out at Chris, a lad cam in with 90 mackerel and a pic of a huge mutha of a tope, at side of his boat, to scared to land it lol

Thanks for the day guys been an invaluable experience, appreciated all The help when I needed it also,, messy fecker I am. ,,,,,

Guess best get to work and remove my cough scratch from my hull. Put a line in it. Getting it on the trailer,, bloody used to beach launching, my excuse any way ,

Not a problem edd, glad to see you back. My mrs was happy as well cos she had been lined up to bring tent and rations over to Holyhead and it saved her a journey. Boat looked great in the water. See you for moelfre 👍👍

I had 5 ltrs spare but put it in once I dumped 10 ltrs at the skerries,, just made me nervous in case the cap was fooked,,

And yes turns out the cap is brittle. New one ordered ,, that is what happens when an engine is stood up for 5 years in a shed ,

No real experience of auto lubes ....

A standard 2 smoke runs on 1:50 or 1:100. Does that not mean you'd only need 700 - 1400ml of oil for a 70 litre fill. Even at 1:25 which would be smoky you would roughly be half a gallon .. So apart from you like to cover half of daffodil land in oil why are you using so much...
