Indeed. The rally that year was Menai to Ty Coch, the photo Neal rightly states was used in the magazine. It's a good long 15 mile drag away from Anglesey down the Llyn to Nefyn.
It so happened Nitrox had to come from NE Anglesey to meet us, so went south on the way and north on his way back, making a round island trip.
The day after, TonyT and a couple (not i, id been out for two days already and had to obey the powers that be) then did a round island.
The days success inspired the second Anglesey rally, 2012 to go right round weather permitting.
