Anyone about Saturday?

Thinking about taking the 4m over to IOW.. It'll be a first for me but thinking I should do it while i've got the confidence!

It'll be pretty weather dependant, but i'm not going to be a girl about it and let a breeze put me off!

25 litres of fuel should be fine with the 40hp, i'll take an extra 5 just incase!

But yeah, if anyone's heading over or just fancies a blast in the Solent/Southampton water so I don't have to do it, let me know

Weather looking good for the whole weekend,

Tide on the way to springs but not too bad either and the wind is looking mild too.

Sea state should be slight.

will be out and about from 9 but only in the Western Solent (apart from a refuel in Cowes maybe).

Have a good hack mate.

Watch out for the Marine Police Round the Island Sailing charity race. The race starts at 7AM and as I understand the race is anti clockwise.

I will launch at 8AM at Southampton Dry Stack and most probably go clockwise and lunch at Ventnor

so to answer your question, : there will be a lot of police around on Saturday so give them a wave
