Thats gloating that is!

For us a millpond is anything less than a F7.

I bet we have better overfalls though.

Last time I came up to Alderney it literally was like a millpond...still nearly got thrown out the boat coming round the east coast

I know so haha

A couple of years ago I trailered up to Cherbourg and sailed across in a Zod Pro 4.2m A fairly hectic (but very well planned) trip ensued, with only a couple of things falling off!

With the Vipermax though I imagine it'll be a bit more of a regular occurrence!!

Now it's showing a wave height of 0.0 for Wednesday pm despite the wind speed being 23 knots? Go figure!

Perhaps their waveheight meter is at the top of a beach somewhere, and when the tide's out it doesn't give a reading

Savour that screen shot. You're unlikely to see those colours on windfinder again for a little while.

Trumphunter are now giving F2 and F4 for monday, but my own interpretation of the pressure systems is less optimistic.

I should have been taking the RIB to Jersey today, but I think I shall catch the metal bird instead.

It does look very promising. I have some work to do in St H at some point, unusual to have a choice of days.
